• www.aap.org/parents.html - great info for parents on a whole variety of topics from a trusted source, the American Academy of Pediatrics.

  • www.connectforkids.org - more great info for parents on a variety of topics.

  • www.safekids.org - information on how to keep your child safe, with games and puzzles for kids and more info for parents.

  • www.chadd.org - look here for lots of information on your child with ADD or ADHD.

  • Recommended Immunization Schedule - the Recommended Childhood and Adolescent Immunization Schedule --- United States, 2006

  • www.bjpinchbeck.com - good site for helping kids with any homework, by providing links to all kinds of information they may need. Parents be aware that there are some things in this website that you may wish to monitor, because some information may be inappropriate for younger children, and some of the links request payment for their services.
  • www.chem4kids.com - great free site for learning the basics of chemistry (yuck – one of my less favorite subjects in school). You can also link to biology, geography, and physics, though those sites require a registration fee.

These are just a few of the great websites out there on kids and parenting. Just be aware that not all information on the web should be considered correct – if you have questions, ask me!

Travel - we all look forward to a fun vacation, though sometimes we have to come back home to rest up! [more]
